so far this summer..

Hi! My name is Felicia Dogan and I am the...
Worst. Blogger. Ever.

Whew, I've got a lot of catching up to do!
The last part of school was wonderful, fast, and kicked my butt! I kissed another set of Rockstars and sent them into the crazy world of second grade! I know they're ready, but it's always bittersweet.
Especially the fact that one of those firsties, was this one!
Oh hey time... Feel free to slow down, stat! (No, seriously.. It's summer, sloooooooow it down!)

Since school has been out Amy (check her out at lifeofafootballcoachswife.blogspot.com) and I took these babies to the Memphis Zoo.
L to R: Emma Claire, Hayden, Sadie, Eli, and Jax
We have a Sweets N Treats auction at school each year and a few teacher's donate "teacher dates".  Amy and I doubled up and donated a Zoo Date for you and a friend. Emma Claire, was the highest bidder from the Rockstar Class and Hayden was the Lion Winner. EC took Sadie and Hayden took Jax. Eli got to go because his mom would've felt bad leaving him. ;)

Here are a few Zoo Pics:

The Memphis Zoo has an exhibit where you can pet and feed Stingrays and Sharks! It's my fave!

We made a four person shoulder sit. Which is bragworthy, I mean I was a cheerleader ;)

Eli started Swim team this week. We are excited for him to be a Killer While!
When he isn't busy with that, he has been catching tiny frogs with PopWilliam and their 5 am fishing trips have resumed.

Last night Eli hosted a camp out to celebrate the end of the school year! We had 11 boys spend the night and I ended up taking 8 of them swimming today. Let me tell ya, if you need to be educated on the ways of the world, run out and grab ya a group of boys. I know so much more today than I did yesterday.
Seriously, they were great..
and by great I mean loud.
Lawd. Have. Mercy.
Girls talk a lot, I found that out about 2 seconds after I started teaching.
But boys, boys yell. And eat.  And wrestle. And eat.  And shoot each other. And Eat. And laugh. Oh that precious laughter, which is usually brought on by a fart, or someone saying balls, or someone else saying poop. And then, they eat.

I love having them all here. But, we have put a new rule on sleepovers.. No sleepovers when Daddy has to work, not because of the noise level (Quinn could sleep in the middle of a bunch of Tweens at a One Direction concert.) (That's a real band. I googled it.)
But, because Quinn stays up too late playing games with the boys! Ha!
Anyway, we set up a tent and stocked it with snacks, did I mention how much boys eat?! And the boys brought their sleeping bags, we sprayed them down with OFF! (#bootheelsummerprobs) and I got them each a little flashlight.
Notice the nose holding^.  Told ya. Lots of farts.
Needless to say, by midnight my livingroom looked like this:
All eleven. Tucked in and watching The Nut Job.
Priceless.
We spent today swimming and having a blast.
Congrats, ladies and gents.. If you managed to read it all- You should be up to date with the Dogans!

This momma is headed to bed.
Right after I clean the kitchen, finish an order for Created in Chaos, and fold a load or two of laundry!
